- There must be an induced draft fan for ventilation in the mill, and the wind speed in the mill is required to reach 0.8~1.2m/s;

The current status of powder selectors in my country After the continuous development of centrifugal and cyclone types, the rotor type powder selector was launched in the mid-1990s. It effectively controls the fineness and particle size distribution of the finished product and better meets the production needs. However, with the implementation of the new cement standard, new challenges have been posed to the rotor type powder selector: the early strength of cement does not meet the requirements, and it is impossible to work hard on controlling the fineness of the finished product. The fineness control of the rotor type powder selector is mainly through the two methods of spindle speed and circulating air volume, which greatly increases the circulation load of the system, greatly reduces the powder selection efficiency, and a large amount of return powder enters the first chamber of the mill, resulting in a decrease in the mill grinding efficiency and a significant increase in the system unit output grinding power consumption. The third generation of powder selectors represented by the O-Sepa powder selector adopts the plane eddy current powder selection theory, with small size and large processing capacity. It is widely used in some new dry production lines, but because it does not have a fine powder collection device, it needs to match a large-scale bag dust collector, which increases the investment and system installed capacity, and increases the difficulty of operation and management. It is not suitable for small and medium-sized cement plants.
The rotor type powder selector is economical and practical, but the classification accuracy is not high, and the adaptability to the new cement standard is poor.
